Sherry Lalonde

For the past seven years, Sherry has been matching children and youth to mentors in the community, but this summer God was calling her to do more and to step out in faith, which brought her to Youth for Christ.

Sherry hopes to expand the youth ministry at Youth for Christ by mentoring high school girls and being an advocate for them and their needs.  She hopes to have programs that will teach valuable life skills, build positive self- esteem, and provide a place where they can explore who Jesus is and what faith looks like.  Sherry’s dream is for every young person to discover the extraordinary love Jesus has for them and experience an incredible faith journey.

Sherry has an exuberant personality and a zest for life. She is looking forward to seeing how God is going to provide and work in the lives of the youth in St Thomas-Elgin County.  Sherry hopes in the days to come that she will radiate hope and an uncountable joy to everyone she meets.
