Grant Dodson (Tour For Teens 2026)
Hi friends! I’m Grant, and this year I’m riding 25 km in the Tour For Teens — which may not sound like much to some people, but for an old, slightly out-of-shape youth worker, it’s basically the cycling equivalent of climbing Everest.
I’m riding to raise funds for the work I get to be part of every day with Youth Unlimited YFC, a faith-based non-profit serving young people across Southwestern Ontario. Through mentoring, coaching, and youth programs, we get the incredible privilege of investing in teenagers’ lives — helping them discover hope, purpose, and the love of Jesus.
My goal is simple: 50 people giving $100 each. That would get me to $5,000 and make a real difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
If you’re willing to support my ride, I’d be incredibly grateful. All donations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt, which means you get to support a great cause and make your accountant happy.
And just so we’re clear:
I’m not riding because I love hills… or spandex… or sitting on a tiny bike seat for hours. I’m riding because young people matter.
Thanks for cheering me on — and if you see me during the ride, please remember: cyclists don’t get older… we just shift into lower gears.
