Josina Pranger

Josina has been involved with 37 Frank Youth Centre since 2020, initially as a volunteer and then came on as staff in 2023. She came to Strathroy wanting to use her experience of working in the community mental health and housing sectors to support youth who are struggling with addictions, mental health, and housing insecurity with navigating the social services system and get the help they need.

In early 2024, she helped create and launch the youth emergency crash bed program, otherwise known as Frank’s House. While coordinating the crash bed is her main role, she is also often at Frank’s Cafe helping with the social services side of things and enjoying time with the volunteers and youth. She usually avoids games of Uno as she’s been told by multiple people that she gets too competitive.

When she’s not working, Josina enjoys reading, baking, finding new markets and bookstores to go to, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family (especially her nephews and niece).
