I had fun painting Jesus up at Strawberry Point Christian Camp on Manitoulin Island over the past couple weeks. Chipping away at it each day for a few minutes here and there until I was finally happy with it 10 minutes before I left. I feel this painting represents what the camp does. After getting you miles away from your comfort zone and craziness of everyday life the camp presents God and his desire to hold us, comfort us and have a relationship with us.
For the past 4 years I’ve been traveling up to the camp with Cambridge YFC/Youth Unlimited and watching God impact teenagers during the camps teen week.
